Let’s learn about Corn snakes

Did You Know. . .
* Corn snakes are also known as rat snakes.
* Corn snakes can live up to 25 years and grow up to 6 feet long.
* They live in the Southeastern USA in forests, grasslands and urban areas.
* The name ‘corn snake’ comes from the pattern on their bellies that looks like Indian corn and because they eat the rodents that hang out in the cornfields.
* They are very popular as pets and come in many different color morphs. Anyone want a Root Beer, Creamsicle or Blizzard colored corn snake?

Meet the King Cobra

Did You Know. . .
* The King Cobra is the longest venomous snake in the world. They grow up to 22 feet.
* They live in Southeast Asia and parts of India in tropical forests.
* When the king cobra feels threatened, they raise the first third of their bodies (can be up to 5 feet tall) and extend their hood on the sides of their head to make them look bigger.
* The King Cobra got it’s name ‘king’ because they eat other snakes.
