My boss Joy loves hidden picture puzzles. Don't you? She decided to try her hand at creating one and here it is.

This month's animal is the zebra. Since my family didn't make it into summer camp, I thought I'd share some information about us now.
Did you know...
* Our eyes are on the sides of our heads. We have excellent eyesight, especially our night vision.
* Our hearing, taste and smell senses are all excellent too. We just have good sense(s).
* Horses are related to us. They use the same naming system we do. Stallion for the males, filly for the females and foal for the babies.
* We have a few predators. Lions and hyenas like us, to eat that is. When they come after us, we stand in a circle facing out. We fight by kicking and biting.
* There are three different zebras that live in Africa. Can you name them? The answer is at the bottom of the newsletter.

Did you figure out the three types of African zebras? They are:
The Plains zebra (most common), the Mountain zebra and the Grevy zebra.
Oh, and our name, it comes from the old Portuguese word ‘zevra’ which means “wild ass.” Just thought you might want to know.
Bye for now. See you around the V Zoo. Be sure to stop in at our two blogs,
Zooprise Party / Fiesta Zoorpresa
